Foundry Radar Chrome Extension · Last updated: October 5, 2026
What we collect
Foundry Radar does not track your browsing activity, collect personal information, or use any analytics or advertising trackers. The extension only communicates with our own backend at radar.clowand.com to fetch a daily list of curated startup opportunities.
Local storage
If you bookmark an opportunity, that choice is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome storage API. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to any third party. It is only used to show you which opportunities you have already saved.
Permissions explained
- storage — saves your bookmarked opportunities locally on your device.
- alarms — periodically checks for new opportunities (every 6 hours) so you can get timely desktop notifications.
- notifications — alerts you on your desktop when a new high-quality opportunity is added.
- host permission (radar.clowand.com) — used exclusively to fetch the daily opportunity feed from our own server. No browsing history or page content is read or transmitted.
Account data (optional sign-in)
If a future version adds sign-in to sync bookmarks across devices, we will only store the minimum data needed (email address and your saved opportunity list) in our Supabase-hosted database, and we will update this policy before that feature ships.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
